Two woods, one harmonious design
This board combines solid walnut, prized for its deep hue and natural elegance, with solid oak lines that highlight its shape and provide that signature visual contrast. The wood species are glued using lamellation (the "edge-gluing" technique), a traditional craftsmanship that guarantees a stable board over time, without warping or cracking – unlike single-piece solid wood boards, which are more susceptible to moisture-induced changes.
Crafted in France, down to the last detail
Each board is cut, sanded, and oiled by hand by French artisans. As wood grain is natural, no two boards are exactly alike: you receive a unique piece, not a mass-produced item.
Designed to last
Finished with 100% food-grade mineral oil (solvent-free, chemical-free) that nourishes the wood and protects it from moisture while remaining safe for contact with food.

Care & maintenance
Your solid oak Surf board is oil-finished, with no varnish: the wood stays alive. A few simple habits and it will last you for years.
No dishwasher
Heat causes the wood to crack and warp. Hand wash only.
Rinse and dry immediately
Under clean water, no prolonged soaking. Dry immediately with a cloth.
Refresh it once a month
Lemon + baking soda or coarse salt to sanitise and deodorise, then rinse and dry.
Feed the wood once a month
A few drops of food-grade oil on a cloth, leave to absorb, then wipe off the excess.
Smooth blade only
Avoid serrated knives, which scratch and damage the surface.
Two sides, two uses
Cut on one side, serve and present your appetisers on the other.
Oak and walnut are living materials: they develop a patina and gain character over time. That's what makes every board unique.

You have 14 days from receipt to exercise your right of withdrawal (excluding personalised items). Items must be returned in their original condition, complete and unused.
